BIO: An American author, poet, and editor living in Australia, L. E. Daniels is a two-time Bram Stoker Award® nominee and finalist for the Shirley Jackson, Aurealis, Ditmar, and Australasian Shadows Awards. Lauren’s novel Serpents Wake: A Tale for the Bitten (Interactive Publications) is a Notable Work with the HWA’s Mental Health Initiative. Her recent work appears in anthologies published by The Godmother of Horror Press, Flame Tree Press, Black Spot Books, Crystal Lake Publishing, Hippocampus Press, Twisted Wing Productions, Underland Press, 34 Orchard, Timber Ghost Press, and Dark Ink. Lauren holds an MFA from Emerson College, has edited over 150 titles, and directs Brisbane Writers Workshop—a resource of in-person and online professional and creative writing workshops, editorial services, and reading events.
