BIO: Hester Steel is an writer and subeditor, and generally considered a terrible mistake. She lives in London, but escapes it as often as possible, either by getting on trains to see how far they go, or by picking up dice and pretending to be a gnome. Their first novel, “The Faceless Thing We Adore”, was published in 2025 by Page Street Horror; she is currently working on her second by reading as much about insects as possible, distressing other coffee shop patrons.
