BIO: Jenny Kiefer is a horror author living in Louisville, Kentucky. Together with her mother, she owns and operates Butcher Cabin Books, an all-horror bookstore. She has received accolades for her creative writing from an early age, starting in the second grade when she won a class-wide story contest, beating out her other 19 classmates. Her short fiction has appeared in Cosmic Horror Monthly, Fantasy & Science Fiction, Pseudopod, and anthologies such as The Earth Bleeds at Night and forthcoming in The Rack, Volume II. Her debut novel, This Wretched Valley, received starred reviews in Library Journal and Publisher’s Weekly, and appeared in The New York Times and NPR.
